12 ORIGINAL single sheet KIRIGAMI WORKS inspired by SETS & SCENES FROM STAR WARS

2015 saw Marc return with his second solo exhibition – Cut Scene. During the 3 years since Horrorgami Marc learned to engineer a single sheet of paper into even more complex designs than previously and as a life long fan of Star Wars had no doubts about the subject for his next collection.

The Cut Scene campaign launched on May 4th 2015 with the exclusive ran by the BFI. Within a few days news soon spread virally being published on a host of respected news, arts and cultural sites such as WIRED, CNN, Shortlist.com, CreativeBloQ, LaughingSquid, MSN and a whole host of others. Within 16 days the project was 100% backed. A second wave of press emerged in the week leading up to the opening with TV coverage on BBC World News and London Live, and reviews in ShortList Magazine, GQ, Londonist, The Mirror and Mashable.

Cut Scene was exhibited at 5th Base Gallery, London from 8th -16th August 2015.
